What Citehelm is, in one page

Citehelm is an AI search visibility consultancy founded in Budapest in 2026 by Bálint Szabó. It monitors how AI assistants — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google’s AI answers — respond to the questions buyers ask in a client’s market, measures which sources those answers cite, and runs the ongoing remediation work that makes the client one of the cited sources.

Three things distinguish the practice:

It is a retainer, not an audit. AI citations decay silently and shift with engine updates. A one-off report describes a moving system once; a monitoring-and-remediation loop keeps pace with it. Citehelm runs weekly sentinel prompt sets and monthly full-protocol measurements for every client.

It is built for non-English B2B markets. The citation pools behind German industrial prompts or Hungarian professional-services prompts are smaller, differently sourced and far less contested than their English equivalents. Citehelm works language-natively in German, Hungarian, English and Portuguese.

It measures like it means it. Baselines before interventions. Test prompt clusters beside untouched controls. Ninety-day measurement windows. Null results reported. No guaranteed citations — because generated answers are stochastic, and honesty about that is a feature, not a caveat.

The first engagement is a baseline audit: how engines answer your buyers’ questions today, which sources they cite, and which prompt clusters are open or locked. Everything after that is steering.
